Managing Director

Lawrence Sullivan provides Raniere’s corporate clients with customized asset resolution strategies and executes capital markets transactions on their behalf.  Prior to forming Raniere Capital Partners, Mr. Sullivan was a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group of Capmark Finance (formerly GMAC Commercial Mortgage) where his primary responsibility was to conduct the sale of sub and non-performing loans for Capmark and other special servicers. 

Prior to joining Capmark, Mr. Sullivan led Jones Lang LaSalle’s Debt Capital Markets Group where he was responsible for equity and debt transactions valued at more than $7 billion over his 9 year tenure. 

Mr. Sullivan holds a B.A. in Finance and Philosophy and a Master of Science in Finance from Loyola University Maryland.

John Sullivan provides Raniere’s corporate clients with expertise in equity and debt asset management, underwriting, and advisory services on assets of all property types. Prior to forming Raniere Capital Partners, Mr. Sullivan was a Vice President at BlackRock where his primary responsibility was to asset manage a pool of $8.5 Billion of of equity, mezzanine debt, B-notes and CMBS first-loss positions. While at RCP, Mr. Sullivan has had multiple long-term asset management assignments formulating creative solutions for performing  and sub-performing properties, turnarounds, workouts, foreclosures, loan modifications, and dispositions.  Mr. Sullivan holds a B.A. in Management from Gettysburg College and a Juris Doctor from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law.
